And the rest of June 21st

For a mid morning snack, I ate 1 cup of watermelon cubes.  The watermelon was not as sweet as I wanted and I am beginning to learn a lot about portion size.  A cup is so small, and this was a heaping cup.


For lunch, Lauren made a light chicken salad with cranberries and pecans.  I put this over a bed of lettuce and a serving of ranch dressing.


Lauren cooks again!!!! For supper tonight, she made smoked Tilapia and shrimp with sauteed vegetables.  I am not really a fish kind of person, but this was a great meal.  We will have to see if we can get Lauren in the kitchen more often.



As far as exercising goes, I got up to 23 minutes with Tae-Bo.  Hopefully tomorrow I can complete the whole video.  I am fighting the urge to get on the scales.  The scales have always been my enemy.  I have religiously gotten on them daily and when I am trying to lose weight the fact that it isn't coming off fast enough is always discouraging.  I am attempting to only get on them on Mondays.  Let's see if I can stick to it and stay off of them.
